Typeface Pisanka was developed at the request of a group of teachers. It reflects the model of handwriting taught in Slovene primary schools. Pisanka includes alternative forms of letters that allow for smooth and authentic connections between characters. These variants cover initial, medial, and final forms, as well as isolated letter shapes.
Since its release, we have continued to receive inquiries from different parts of Slovenia requesting slight modifications to the construction of certain letters—for example, the shape of r, and the entry strokes of I, K, J, etc.
